Joe Woolfolk, 63, of Dallas, Texas has no doubts about the benefits of stem cell therapy. Joe had suffered through two heart attacks, which had damaged more than 1/3 of his heart. With an ejection fraction (a measure of the heart’s pumping ability) of 20%, Joe was in congestive heart failure, a condition that affects more than five million Americans, commonly restricting their activities and rendering them bed ridden.
Joe Woolfolk knew his heart was getting worse. “My time had run out. I didn’t feel like dying,” Joe said. “I was sleeping most of the time. I had very little energy to do anything. And because I couldn’t do anything, I kept gaining more and more weight. I could barely play three holes of golf.”
Joe searched the Internet for something to help him. That was when he came across Theravitae, a stem cell therapy company that specializes in treating heart patients with the patient’s own stem cells, using their Vescell technology.
Joe and his wife Judy flew to Bangkok, Thailand in December, 2006 for Joe’s stem cell treatment. Joe had his own adult stem cells injected back into his heart muscle in a minimally invasive surgical procedure at Bangkok Heart Hospital.
“I’ve been in and out of so many hospitals through the years, but it was the best, most modern and cleanest hospital I have ever been in. Dr. Kit Arom (Chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon of Bangkok Heart Hospital) and Dr. Permyos Ruengsakulrach are two of the best doctors I have ever seen,” Joe declared.
“I was treated like royalty by the Theravitae staff and the nurses at the hospital. They took great care of me,” Joe said.
The results of the procedure were immediate. Two weeks after returning to Texas, Joe played a full round of golf. “I have been able to play thirty-six holes of golf in one day,” Joe stated.
“I said before the stem cell treatment, that if I get one quality year of life from this stem cell therapy, it would be worth it. Now, I just passed one year and am shooting for two.” Joe said.
Joe’s ejection fraction is now at 40%, up from 20%, one year after his adult stem cell therapy.
When asked if he had anything to say to heart patients considering adult stem cell therapy, Joe replied, “Do it. You will never be sorry. Thailand is a beautiful country with beautiful people. You don’t have to die, there is an alternative out there.”
Joe has graciously offered to talk to anyone about the benefits of adult stem cell therapy. You can reach Joe at 214-697-0086.
