Thailand PM to open international symposium in Bangkok on stem cell therapy for the failing heart November 27, 2006

BANGKOK, Thailand, 27 November 2006 – Delegates from around the world will join leading scientists and researchers, medical specialists and industry leaders at a stem cell therapy symposium in Bangkok December 1-3, 2006.
The Prime Minister of Thailand, General Surayud Chulanont, will open the three-day event which has been organized to provide a forum where the latest clinical techniques and current research can be discussed. This will facilitate better insight into the emerging technologies and techniques of helping those who suffer from cardiac disease.
